Thursday, August 25th, Fed Ex Stork brought my new baby in two card board boxes. Hot from the presses of Harrison House Publishing and delivered to my front stoop on a warm Pacific Northwest morning! The layout, cover and feel of the book was even better than I imagined. I’ve started to get a bit of feedback from readers and my heart is flip flopping. Even though editors have taken a razor blade to the manuscript, it’s the reader that keeps me intrigued. Will they connect? Will it matter to them? Will the work of my hands affect the landscape of their heart? Whatever the answer, God’s love is sure great material to write on. And writing about it has changed me forever.
